We now buy the iPad at www.SellYourCell.com. Are we now, SellYourTabletPC.com? No, we still specialize in cell phones but the convergence of cell phones is marching forward and we have decided to expand our horizons.

For now, we are just buying the iPad but we'll look at the other offerings like the new Blackberry PlayBook. Our bias is to focus on the tablet PCs that are offered by cell phone manufacturers instead of computer manufacturers.

Why buy the iPad? On close (not even that close) examination, an iPad is just a big iPhone but without the phone. That's a pretty big "without". Since we are used to doing technical evaluations of iPhones, it's pretty easy for us to evaluate an iPad. Frankly it's easier than the iPhone because we don't need to test the phone!

Also, the iPad is hugely popular. We only want to buy phones or tablets that are popular and have good resale value. So, we never bought the Garmin phone and if the Blackberry PlayBook is a dud, we probably won't buy it either.

We still specialize in cell phones and aren't changing our name to SellYourTabletPC.com but we did buy the URL. So...if you want to sell your iPad, check us out but also keep coming to us with your cell phones!
